How to clean roofs without going on them, using the Airpole® safe roof cleaning equipment

As the Airpole® safe roof cleaning equipment is a ‘dry’ system,  tarpaulins are laid on the ground before a portable scaffold on wheels is erected to the gutter level. The scaffold is gradually moved around the property.

The roof tiles are now cleaned with the Airpole® whilst standing on the scaffold using lightweight carbon fibre poles and specially designed attachments at the top of the pole in combination with compressed air. The moss and dirt on a roof are dislodged and brought down the roof with NO damage to the tiles. The compressed air has enough force to blow the dirt and moss out of the cracks/joints of the tiles without lifting or damaging the tiles – even very delicate, fragile and damaged tiles can be cleaned.

After the moss / debris is cleaned off the roof, the gutter is cleared and the downpipe is checked and if necessary unblocked with the patent pending AirSnake® attachment.

Finally, using the same carbon fibre pole, the Airpole® head is then exchanged for a brush softwash applicator, and the tiles are then biocided and softwashed using our chemical delivery system, leaving the tiles super-clean, and the natural colour of the tiles is gradually returned (because the softwash cleans the tiles) over the next 12 months… Job safely done!
